サーバー死活監視ツール – Website Load Tool

Website Load Tool は、Windows で動作するサーバー死活監視ツールの１つ。

※「WebsiteLoadTool.application」をダウンロードする方法のほかに、インストーラーも用意されている
※Windows7 SP1 64bit で試用した

インストール

「WebsiteLoadTool.application」を実行するとインストールが完了する。

使い方

Website Load Tool を起動する。

起動したところ。

監視対象の追加

Settings をクリックする。

NewWebsite をクリックする。

ID は自動決定されるらしい。Name とURI を設定してOK をクリックする。

チェック

Check Selected をクリックすると、リスト上で選択している対象をチェックできる。

チェックしたところ。

Start をクリックすると自動チェックする（後述参照）。

そのほか

インターバル

Settings のGeneric タブでログファイルに関する設定やインターバル設定ができる。初期設定では５秒となっている。

通知機能

Website Load Tool に通知は無いらしいが、対象サーバーについてはXML ファイルに保存される。これを上手く利用すれば、簡易的な通知機能や死活監視結果を公開することもできるかもしれない（後述参照）。

ログファイル

全体のログのほか、対象ごとにXML ファイルに保存されているらしい。

Note: The test result file ‘(Website.ID}_Results.xml’ inside the application installation folder will not be removed automatically.

By Pressing OK the websites will be stored inside an XML file called websites.xml at the location where the application is installed. Note: It is possible that you enter your own websites directly in the XML file

テスト環境では「C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0\952JK4TL.QN8\L3Z6NZR0.5EY\webs..tion_b4caa18329a867a0_0001.0000_9e15653643569731」に保存されていた（「7bd378c4-ab38-4421-91c5-af57166170cc_Results.xml」などになっていた）。

この例の場合、「Websites.xml」にID 「7bd378c4-ab38-4421-91c5-af57166170cc」があり、「7bd378c4-ab38-4421-91c5-af57166170cc_Results.xml」に結果が保存されている。
